In my life I had very difficult times and it was never easy, but to be
an I-Shin put me in a position that I was too proud to give up, to show
weakness. What I have also learned in college psychology is that
‘active relaxing’ is more effective then ‘passive relaxing’. So even if
you are stressed out or have a lot of work you have to train, to
be ready for whatever is coming. Not to train make’s you weak, moody, lazy and sick. You have to learn that you need to train like you breathe, drink and eat. Because you have learned I-Shin, and you have to trained to control yourself, this is just your karma now, because your hands, legs and body are weapons. Not to control them can accidentally hurt or kill someone.
Why my thoughts are going in this direction this year? Mental weakness,
laziness and excuses are often seen in students not showing up to classes
all over the world. Once a week must be possible for everybody just to
show yourself the will to be an I-Shin. I would be ashamed for myself,
to call me myself I-Shin and to not to train. It is your Life, your
religion, your beliefs and your health. When everybody gives up, is when
we start. We are different, stronger, faster and more knowledgeable then
everybody else on this planet. If you step in this extreme style of
Martial Arts you have to accept the consequences and the path that
is coming with it, to learn one of the best Martial arts styles ever;
I-Shin for eternity – are not just words!
I wish every I-Shin worldwide Happy Holiday’s and a healthy, peaceful
and an intense training year for 2011!
